EducationUSA Academy - a virtual academic enrichment program for international high school students around the world considering study in the United States
In 2021, the program will be offered exclusively in virtual format. EducationUSA Academy is a short term (three-to-six-week) academic enrichment program for 15- to 17-year-old foreign nationals who are intermediate, advanced, or native English speakers. The long-term goal of the program is to create and sustain a pipeline of highly qualified international high school students who are well positioned for future study in the United States. In addition to English language training, the program also facilitates the development of skills necessary for success as undergraduates at U.S. higher education institutions. The program is administered under a cooperative agreement with the Institute of International Education (IIE). The following U.S. campuses will host virtual EducationUSA Academy Connects sessions in summer 2021:
- Boston University (Massachusetts)
- Diablo Valley College (California)
- Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Florida)
- St. Cloud State University (Minnesota)
- St. John’s University (New York)
- Temple University (Pennsylvania)
- University of Colorado Boulder (Colorado)
