Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property (hereinafter – RSAIP) (Moscow Russian Federation) launched in 2009 the Pilot Project “Invention and research activity of young people – formation of new intellectual elite in Russia”. The purpose of this Project is developing knowledge and creative abilities of young generation, improving intellectual and legal competence, fostering respect to the authors and to detect the talented children.
The project was based on All-Russian Quiz on IP for high school students. Subsequently it was decided to change fundamentally the format of the Project and transform the Quiz into the Olympiad.
The organizers of the Olympiad are Federal Service on Intellectual Property of Russian Federation (Rospatent), RSAIP and Chamber of Commerce and industry of the Russian Federation (hereinafter - CCI RF). The Olympiad is supported by the World Intellectual Property Organization (hereinafter - WIPO), the Eurasian Patent Office (hereinafter - the EAPO), the Russian authors society (hereinafter - RAO). The Head of Organizing Committee of the Olympiad – Director of Rospatent - doctor of technical Sciences, Professor Mr. Boris Simonov.
The grand prize for the winner of the Olympiad on is a certificate for free tuition at the Russian State Academy of intellectual Property.
Five-year continuous experience of implementation of this International Project is a proof that the International Olympiad on IP for high school students (http://olimpiada-rgiis.ru/) is one of the effective instruments to increase the attention and respect to IP.
We invite the Russian-speaking high school students from your country to join the VI International Olympiad.
After the full-time training in RSAIP high school students from your country will become professionals in the field of intellectual property. Afterwards they will return to their country to participate actively in building an innovative economy.
Taking into account the importance and the scope of the Olympiad, we kindly ask you to provide the support to this Project.
In order to study the efficiency of the Olympiad and to evaluate the needs of different countries in the learning of intellectual property basics we kindly ask you to answer the following Questionnaire. We would appreciate if you could send us the filled Questionnaire before 1 of October.
